Default Progress

Today I flew without CTDs or stutters (except low over Manston during a base attack by those bloody Huns), for three and one half hours.

Started on Hurris, got pieces of 2 Ju 88s and 2 Br.20s, then switched to Spit IIa and got a piece of one of the Huns that was attacking Manston. So, I have to admit it was a good day of flying.

Three things I changed in my settings this time:

1. Turned Vsync on in game. (Still forced off in nvidia settings).

2. Turned SSAO off.

3. Changed my resolution to 1600 x 900 from native 1920 x 1080.

Still a long way to go, but I admit this is an improvement.

really, your CPU is capping your video board; if you can spare the budget you should get a decent quad core, they're not that terribly expensive (775 i presume) and you'll see difference

No budget for upgrades right now.

Sadly.

And if I did I'd just go completely new anyway, at least mobo and cpu.

for 775 they are new egg does Not even list them, the cheapest i found for a 775 core 2 quad was $142 for a Intel Q8400 Core 2 Quad 2.66, if you want to get into the 3GHZ range it will be close to $400 so EL is right...time for a new MB.

P.S about $170 and u have a new MB and qaud core EL

Not sure it would help in the current state anyways, CoD's not using multiple cores very efficiently right now.

For the Gf570 you need at least an i5 to make it work like it was meant to work.
