Default FPS solution that's worked for me.

My FPS are worse since I installed the Alpha patch I am getting a drop of 5 FPS overall and 10 FPS loss then before if i fly through a cloud. My system Specs are below. Any ideas?

Geforce 680 GTX
i7 930, Overclocked to 4.0
Raptor HD
6 gig Ram
Motherboard Gigabyte X58A

For those who do not have a 'dedicated' gaming PC.. As in your may have 'other' uses and 'other' software installed.. You may want to give this util a try

http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

In that it will optimize your PC for those who don't know how to optimize thier PC.. It turns off alot of background stuff that 'may' be the cause of why you with your hardware is getting less FPS than someone else with the same hardware

I have all this on already Ace, but are you saying my computer is not a dedicated gaming PC? Did you look at the spec of my comp? That card alone cost me £500 last week, it's the latest card from Nvidia.

When your loading your pc go into the bios, its in there. Its different from one motherboard make to another so google your MB and hyperthreading.

I have the same board as you, is yours enabled or disabled? What does it do?

@robtek 4gig is fine and you would lose the overclock if you add more then 4 gig.
