Default What do I like the most in CloD - today!

Hi,

Everyone has reasons to complain these days, someone does it quite often and with the same stuff chewed and spitted again and again. Boring. Moreover our three or four official fanboys are having a surcharge of work to fight the whiners. It cannot continue like this forever. The overall image is bleak, too much bleak.

I believe that there is a lot of good in the current game, and that people at MG put already a lot of passion and years of dedicated work in Cliffs of Dover.

I believe also that it is big time to say what is good, very good or exceptional in this sim. Things that make us go back playing the game, and - often - enjoying it.

I would like that this thread becomes the place for B6 and Luthier to have a fresh breath, remotivate themselves - and have no more excuses about updates

So unleash yourself:

WHAT DO I LIKE MORE IN CLIFFS OF DOVER?

Have fun,
Insuber

PS: please refrain to post here bugs, complaints, whines and the like. Heaven knows if we have reasons to be unsatisfied of the current state of affairs, but there are 100's of other threads to vent the frustration. Please mods help me and delete all the OT posts.

Here's one of my favorites:

I love watching at the beobachtung rounds landing on the wings of red planes, the "quick flashes" are hyperrealistic! Exciting!

Saw that you were opening this thread mate. Good idea. There's heaps I like about CoD. One particular part I was really impressed with was the explosions on the ships when bombed. I was following another plane, which gave me an excellent view. The bits of ship blasting into the ocean was awesome.

The shadows of the cotters (cotter pins?) from the side window of the Spitfire moving over the instrument panel...

Bringing a damaged plane back to base, not knowing what exactly is wrong with it, the plane shaking, the oil splattering. It is so immersive.

As soon as we'll have the patch, i'll give my feedback about it. To give it now about a trashed alpha is a nonsense.

Today is 23 march 2012, there are no more excuses for this silence.

However......i love DB601 sound, the only good improvement we have had in 12 months of frustration.

1) Flying low with those famous white cliffs just to the left of me in a 109...... beautiful even on my system!

2) The thud of my cannons firing that almost convinces me I have force feedback!

3) The feeling I am actually flying... something I haven't felt, even remotely, with the competition.

It has to be said that, even in its current broken state...... I haven't touched Skyrim for months since getting my hands on this. Nothing else really seems to satisfy like CloD does.

I hope you're not married. If she sees this she won't be a happy camper.
