Is there a way to copy and paste existing units without having to create new ones and keep putting in the waypoints , formation size , orders , skills everytime you want to create a new unit?
The way it is now is very inefficient and time consuming. |

You can select units with ALT-LMB and drawing a rectangle around them and then rightclick and "Save to file". Then you can load it from file as many times as needed. ALT-RMB and draw a rectangle around them to deselect (or CTRL-LMB?)
Often it is easier to open the mission .mis file in Notepad, copy and paste needed text lines several times and change unit number and one of waypoint coordinates a bit. Last edited by Ataros; 04-23-2012 at 10:57 AM. |

Before we had cut and paste, dipping into the .mis files was the way to go, but that can be very time consuming.
And yes ctrl+rmb unselects a group of units. And you are correct aswell squirrel. |
