Default Problems with the graphics engine?

Problems with the graphics engine? Can someone please elaborate? So the last minute hitch is the graphics engine once again? I thought that was the first problem to be fixed and it had been fixed long ago. I could except all the other last minute hitches, but are we back to square one again? I really am confused now.

This is just a constant circle of problems. Just when you think they have fixed one problem they mention another you assumed was already fixed.

Do they reach a point where they conclude..its just not fixable? I mean..I love the game and it has it is exceptional in many ways, however, not everyone can fix these complex graphic problems.

Nothing to be confused about, bugs identification is an expected outcome of beta testing, in this case a "closed beta". Few days more - or weeks - of wait won't change our lives.

Nothing to be confused about? Are you sure about that? Each week we have been presented with a last minute hitch for how long now? You cannot keep talking about one last minute hitch each week because it makes people believe that all the other major problems have been fixed. I am not bothered about waiting, but I find it frustrating hearing about so many last minute hitches each week.

Venting your frustration won't accelerate - nor slow down - the work of the devs. I suggest simply to revert to your second hobby in the wait - photography, sports, travels, reading, girls, whatever.

Cheers!

Often it comes down to staff telling the boss what they think he wants to hear. We can cure CTD's/boost performance by 50%/supply Stalingrad by air etc. The boss reports this as fact. Later on the results prove to be much less than those that were originally anticipated.

I don't live in these forums, but I do believe that venting frustration is what brought about this patch in the first place. I mean.. How would anyone ever know something was wrong unless someone opened their mouths about it? I am not talking about the patch right now, I am talking about the conflicting messages that keep coming out about it.

I think it's the incessant 'carrot dangling' that is causing more frustration than the actual wait. Whilst we all crave (and deserve) updates on the state of the new patch I feel that it's not a good or fair tactic to promise an imminent release for what has now been far too long a time.

I personally am happy to wait but I can see why people are getting wound up over the delay and the way it has been handled. I also think that the devs have to be very careful if they want their next release to be welcomed with open arms by those of us that still want to see CloD playable and to include the promised features.

I find it hard to believe that the devs are considering leaving CloD in a half finished state to concentrate their efforts on the next release, although I do realise that decision may not be totally under their control. Can they be trusted to give long term support to the next release? Do they expect people to blindly purchase the next release after the fiasco of CloD? Reading a lot of the comments on here over the last week or so I'd say that for many the trust is waning or no longer there. and that can only hurt the sales of any future releases.

I'd really like to see CloD completed to an acceptable standard first. For me, any future purchases depend on whether that happens or not.
