Online skin issues

I got my game from steam, as did my friends but I've had no luck posting in the steam forum, so I thought I'd come back here. So I've got two problems:

1) For some reason, when my friends and I play co-op missions on Hyperlobby, I can always see their custom skins, but they can never see mine; nor can they see each others'.

We've got our skin upload button in the game's network settings flipped up, so I wonder why this is happening.

2) Sometimes, we'll even have this weird bug where we'll see one another's plane in the skin of the previous plane we flew. That is, my buddy once flew a Hellcat in co-op then he flew an SBD-5 in the next mission but on my screen, his SBD-5 looked very strange... turns out it had the Hellcat skin pasted all over it!

Can anyone help?
