Default Seriously BoBSoV+Kights of the Air + Knights of the Sea:?

I know there are those who are seriously keeping track of thses things so I just wanted to know if they are all sort of interrelated. All have been in developement for a long time, and brand new news is hard to find on their sites ( ok ok BoB doesn't even have an official site..) I wonder if all are going for a new Game or graphics engine.I can't buy a new rig until BoB comes out & wonder if these sims are somehow all related to the challenges of developement..any ideas out ther based on real knowledge?

All of them will have new engines that use modern hardware to show loads of eyecandy.

KotSky
...was originally based upon an upgraded IL2-engine, but it was soon pretty obvious that the game exceeded the engines limitations, so they came up with their own engine. Their Website wasn't updated for a long time, but there was a video recently released:

PT-Boats
... recently updated their homepage. There are a couple of screenshots available and the game was shown on E3 and other conventions. I only have a German link ATM for some recent informations and screenshots beyond what is listed on their page:

Yes, that is their new homepage I mentioned.

There was also another FlightSim announced. Apparently UBISoft has a team working on a project to simulate modern and close future Jets in a multiplayer-game called H.A.W.X. . The graphics look awesome but I doubt it will be more than an action-game, considering the lack of realism, gamedepth and variablity from RogueSpear and RavenShield to LockDown and Vegas.

AFAIK they have quite a good basis allready and are planning a release before christmas this year.

Thanks for the video Feuerfalke, I hadn't seen that. I am also awaiting KOTS, with as much anticipation as SOW. I just hope I have the funds to build an appropriate computer when the time comes. (aw hell, who needs to eat when there's video games to play?)

Yes, this is the FUTURE of Battle Simulators - everything in one place, online.
I even dream for some future company with name like this:

"UNITED COMBAT SIMULATORS" Plc.

And me and You, we will be the shareholders...
