Default In cockpit graphic problem

Hello all and help !! I downloaded and installed the latest Steam version after a hiatus of about 6 months and fairplay CLOD runs very well on medium settings on my overclocked Q6600 @ 3.0ghz and my 1.0ghz Nvidia 480 apart from the shadows in cockpit of every plane look as if I am on some psychadellic trip - there are blues and oranges and reds everywhere the shadows should be. I have the latest Nvidia drivers,285.62,and can not work out what the problem is.
Any ideas please ?

Paul

Make sure you have epilepsy filter off in the settings and report back. (unless you have epilepsy of course...)

Try this. turn off shadows/re-start the game...turn on shadows/re-start the game...all better now?

I really wish they would turn that thing off by default. Imagine all the new people who buy this game who don't know of any forums and have this problem? they probably instantly shelve the game.

Hmmm. I suspect this so-called "epilepsy filter" works about as well as the radio comms in this sim. But, hey, if the psychedelic cockpits actually save ONE life*, then the bother to all the newbies is well worth it.

*err, swoon?
