Recording Tracks while playing online (ATAG Server)

I was on the ATAG server last night and before taking off in a Bf110 loaded with bombs I started to record a track. Well after about 7 minutes the game CTD. So,

1) Is it possible to record tracks successfully during online play or is it bugged and should not be attempted.

2)After the CTD I looked and my track was there and I viewed it. Before loading the track I checked Edit Views because I want to switch to outside views and such. Well, I could not switch any views I was stuck in the cockpit with the full realism settings. Is there a way to switch to outside views in a track that was recorded with full realism settings (ATAG Server)??

I recorded the track so I could learn from mistakes and not being able to switch to outside views doesn't help the learning experience.

Any solutions or advice?

Recording a track will decrease the time before CTD.

Your track will have the same settings as the server. Which if you want to learn is not great. However for Sqn vs Sqn matches and campaigns is great because you cant see the enemies tactics.

i tried it a few times ,to record a track online, but every time with the same result...game crash after 2-3minutes.so ill leave it until its fixed.
