Default Head mounted display

The Sensics Natalia 3D goggles make me think we are getting closer to something that us flight simmers would be attracted to. Nothing on price, yet. But, you can bet it will be expensive.

Goggle Sensics or Engadget for more info.

http://smartgoggles.net/

Slowly getting there.

It's a pity they don't have a list of specs for it.

It does only have a 64 degree field of view so I doubt it would give us the peripheral vision that we are use to.

I wonder what weight the device is. It does extend quite far forward which could lead to neck strain.

Cheers! It's always good to see new technology.

Those googles cant display your keyboard, while FS' require a tons of keyboard commands - how you want to deal with this issue?

Yeah surely and wife and kids would be pleased with daddy screaming in the middle of the night EJECT ! EJECT ! to a stupid voice recognition software that can't handle a bit of stress in your voice

No those goggles needs transparent screens

The Natalia system is too bulky in teh front sector near the eyes to be qualified on most market. But it's a nice try

Since we already have clickable cockpits, one problem solved.

You could get the Sony personal-3d-viewer and use trackIR.

These look a little lighter to me.

For me its a no go if I can't see my beer...

You will need more practice! It's all about the melding of your brains body image with your workspace and becoming one with your environment.

If you can't imediately place your hand on your beer while triming your plane in an inverted attitude while typing a message to your team mates there's something wrong!

Practice, Practice, Practice!!!!!!!
