Default Please release SDK's

To Luthier & game dev's: Please release SDK's

It occurs to me after reading the Compilation of Aircraft Systems Errors/Bugs/Modelling Mistakes thread that many "cosmetic" aircraft issues could be corrected by the community if they had access to the relevent SDK's.

Development & improvement of IL2-1946 (mods) by the community has been extrordinary, showing the community has skills to contribute to the sim development. I believe that the community could do the same for COD. I don't understand why the dev's couldn't be continuing to develop/improve the game core/funtionality/performance while the community simultaneously improves content.

One year after the game's release, I wonder why the dev's have not yet released any SDK's.

With the game core still undergoing extensive revision, what exactly would this achieve? Even ignoring the diversion of resources that would be necessary to provide all the functionality and documentation, it would make any future optimisation much more complex. A 'beta SDK' is worse than useless to anyone but tinkerers.

Well said, AndyJWest.

It seems that some people are not reading the forum, strike a fancy, and then : I want, I want. I want.....
