I'm not sure whether this has come up before on these forums or not, have looked and couldn't find anything, or at least anything anywhere near in date, found a few forums with dead links, but need help with an issue.
When trying to play Men of War: Assault Squadonline I have a real problem connecting to games. Next to 90% of games in the game browser i have a little exclamation mark saying 'NAT problems detected, may fail to connect at NAT transversal', or something to that effect, so when i click join it tried to do NAT transversal, seemingly gets past it then says connecting, and stays there saying connecting sometimes taking up to around 15 minutes to say connection failed. This only started happening to me in the last few weeks, before which it was fine. I was hoping somebody will be able to tell me a definitive workaround or fix for this problem as atm i can literally hardly ever connect to a game to play, making men of war assault squad a bit pointless seen as its best bit is by far the online multiplayer. Iv'e tried several workarounds including port forwarding and nothing seems to help in the slightest. Please somebody lett me know if theres anything that can be done ![]() |

Since my first post iv also re downloaded and checked men of original and men of war vietnam, neither of those work either, both have the NAT exclamation mark.
Somebody please help because this problem has nearly wasted all the money i spent on the men of war series. If this is a problem with gamespy then 1C should really take an in depth look at it. |

After a bit more dabbling, it turns out that when i have hamachi running, it will connect to most games.. makes no sense to me as hamachi should only affect LAN play.
There could be a potential link in that the problem started occuring after i first used hamachi to play a LAN game with a friend. Anyone else with a similar problem take this into account, or alternately anybody who could explain this weird circumstance could you please let me know. ![]() |
