Hello all,
I am unable to join any multiplayer games which is a bit odd because I can see them come up in the in-game browser. When I click on the server, I receive player information (name, score and time on server) on the bottom right. When I hit connect, my window changes to a view of Big ben, with 2x Ju-88s and a single Bf-110 and a "break" button on the bottom left corner of the screen. From there my computer does nothing and I am unable to join. I have tried several things to get around this. I have tried connecting via direct connection, I have tried joining off friends on steam friends. I have restarted my router as well as adding an exception to my firewall and even going as far as turning off my firewall completely. I don't know what else I can do. Any help would be great. |

I'm no expert on this, but one suggestion I've seen elsewhere is for you to set up yourself as a server. ie. just set up a multiplayer game yourself, play it for a few seconds, then quit. As I've heard it described, this sets up the "handshake" settings within your PC that enables you to then join other servers. Worth a try. Good luck!

Sadly, that did not fix the problem.

So another thing. I decided to try again, instead of going under multiplayer > client I went to multiplayer > lobby. I saw the 'inter-escadrille francais' server and tried to join. It did the usual (big ben picture with the break button) but after 5 seconds it asked me for a password. So I obviously made a connection to the server. I didn't have the password.
I tried again to join via client and still could not connect. Very odd! |

Bump.
Hoping someone else might know what to suggest!
