Default Nvidia Beta 290.36 performance

No real increase. Wait till Dev team release new Graphics code in 2-3 weeks and we should see bigger performace gains.

DethTrak results: before and after install of new beta driver.
Full Graphics & pre-render frames=8

285.79 Driver avg 50 Max 122

290.36 Driver avg 53 Max 123

SLI no, SLI is software specific, the game has to to tell it to use it.

I get a blue screen crash when I try to install these drivers on my Nvidia GeForce GTX 550TI.

They're working fine on my GeForce 560 Ti. Better try to do a clean re-install of the drivers (like in remove first all the traces of the older driver).

I don't think that will help since the installer removes my previous drivers anyway. Windows produces a warning that it may cause my display to stop working entirely and cause damage, even if I click continue it just Blue screens, restarts and then loads a registry log to revert the system to before the installation. I think I'll wait for the official drivers...

I had this sometimes with the old drivers especially when opening web pages.

The "NV display driver has stopped working...blah blah blah"

But it never caused a problem in a 3d application.
