Default If you have a friend with an old PC

If you have a friend with an old PC and he's sick of his CFS 3 buy him this for Christmas. I did the same exact thing and got $25 back in my paypal for a case of beer All I heard for days was rants and raves about this ten year old game. Things like "where did this come from, how come I never knew about this Combat Flight Simulator is nothing compared to this"! etc.

That's strange ( talking of old pc's and old IL2 )

I just fired up an old AMD2600+ 1 gig ram Nvidia 4600ti XP pro SP3 (giving it to the local pensioners day centre)

Installed IL2 Sturmovik I bought in 2001 for fun..............to make sure its all stable of course !!

Was amazed it had only the FW190 A4 and a bunch of Bf109's.
I had forgotten I bought it for the IL2 ground attack originally.

It ran smooth as silk too.

Had great fun in the old flight models especially the FW190 roll rate and awesome fire-power it had back then

If the pc's not too old then go for the 1946 version

I bought off e-bay recently a copy of IL2 1946 for £1 sealed up in its retail box as mine had become worn out.

.

That's what he did. He bought 1946 a few days after I gave him IL-2
