Default Gathering information of Squadrons and their airfields

Hi all,

For some time now, I am trying to find as many information possible on which squadron operated at what time from what airfield. I am facing more difficulties than expected and hope to get some more information here. Maybe the experts can help me bit for the time frame June to October 1940 for allied squadrons and german "Gruppen" - fighter, bomber, CAS and heavy fighter, all information welcome.

Thanks
SNAFU

Thx, Kodiak, that was what i was looking for... ...even though it contricts G.Rodeikes sources concerning the III./JG27 it is a good overview!

It`s been a while...

Meanwhile I started an on online campaign for our squad based on the events of July 1940. Currently I am waiting for the next patch and hope that the radio menu/ mission menu gets fixed and game gets more stable.

But anyhow, for squadrons and gruppen I settled for just one airfield representing best the days of July and attached here you can find the data I gathered. It`s not all, but for comparison, what I found best fitting and best to use. I filtered all gruppen and squadrons, which were not operation from the area we have available in CloD.

Any comments, discussions welcome.

Well, I already have made my map with all the spawns, AA and a minimum scenery with the bases you find in the pdf. That`s what I use for our dedicated server. And if you look closely you find the comparison with Len Deigthon/S.Bungay is based on RAF.MOD.UK.

The PDF I attached just filtered out all the the gruppen and squadrons not based on the map we have.

Sorry for the bad quality photos. If you think this stuff is useful I'd be happy to scan it at work at some point.
