Default Wind

Hi

I have planned a trip from Hawkinge which should take 10 minutes through one waypoints, however after 9 minutes I was already passing over French coast, which I expected to happen about 1'30" later.

I can approximate 30 knots (55 kh/h) of wind direction east. Is it something practically possible in the game at the stage it is now ?

Clear, so knew it's very difficult to turn on the ground, there are high winds on the map. No wind cone available in objects bu the way ? Not used in those time ?

Strange isn't it. Go to all the effort and expense to build a flying game that can include wind strength and direction and NOT put in a working windsock so that the poor pilot can see which way and how strong the wind is for take-off and landing.

ROF has working windsocks, why not COD?

Maybe just when taxiing, most with big birds. Airborne it's marvelous!

Just above the ground, the wind is not laminar, it is shaking.

That is not yet modelled, hope it will be.

Mission builders responsibility to put wind direction and strength in briefing. Even in ROF with windsock it is useful in briefing especially for bombers.

ROF didn't have windsocks day1 either. It was in a patch and I hope CloD will too.

No it's text only, I only use forums on my phone. There was no text under the video to state your point.
