Default Realistic Clouds?

Hi,
I am dissappointed with the clouds i've seen so far. Only small puffy as in the first version of IL2. I could only chose 2 cloud version in the Full mission builder. Will different cloud-types be added (or are they already there and I only didn't see them.

They are there...but as far as I'm aware, they're a work in progress, confirmed by 1c. Some features like dynamic clouds, thunder and rain don't work yet.

yeah that would be nice, i never understood why CoD has what looks like frost on the canopy when if anything when flying through a cloud you would get drops of water.

in a thread i started then closed by the moderater i suggested 1C allow real weather to be included as an add on its available from justflight and you simply log on to the metar station .The best clouds sets are from FS 2000 mainly. Most MSF simulators allow this software and its great. If you want to play historical then switch it off or back on again if by chance that days weather is similar if you insist, the weather each month of the year is usually similar to the year before so if you do play a historical mission that happened in september you stand a good chance of playing in conditions as they really were that month. This would save a lot of time for the 1C company dev team.

This might not be very easy to do, since it probably uses microsoft's simconnect interface which could be proprietary (eg, license fees and so on). Also, it's a completely different interface from a completely different engine.

It seems the only efficient way any FSX-style weather add-on would work properly with CoD is if the add-on makers to specifically coded support for CoD's weather engine into their product.

And then we need someone to link that to an XML file that someone else makes of what weather it was on that particular day in history.
Then u just set date of flight and you'll get same weather.
