Default 3rd party developers ??

How does one go about becoming a 3rd party developer for IL2\BoB.

I've had this DCG game plan for years now, and feel it'll add a nice campaign/war scenario to IL2/BoB. I haven't started as manually decoding the game by oneself is a lot of 'PT', so if I'm able to get the 'SDK' info that will cut the workload by 50%..

1. It is not allowed to modify aircraft etc. (this is done by the hacker community)
2. There are a number of things which one can modify in the default version (eg. paint jobs, missions)
3. There are tutorials on making campaigns for Dgen and DCG (run a search for Lowengrin for the latter)
4. SOW:BOB will be more open to 3rd party editing and will have its own SDK

I've been around since 2001.. so Yes.., I know the story..
I just find the DGens are somewhat limited in their scope, so wrote up this big plan for a new DGen, even mapped the Crimea map in detail. This is where I stopped... as more info would be needed.
Not to change the FM but looking for info on the comms parameters between Dgen and IL2, overlaying visual DX stuff... etc..

That sort of thing ?
