Default First mission with the IL2DCE: A dynamic campaign engine

It ended pretty well, we were supposed to escort some Heinkels over the channel, unfortunately they all flew in to a hill upon take-off. Anywho, my flight continued patrolling the channel instead and ran into a flight of Blenheims on their way to put craters in France. My flight made short work of them and just before I was to start firing on one I saw tracers passing underneath me and eventually they started slamming into the fuselage, my radio operator starts to furiously fire back. I turn sharply to the left, not looking back to see what's shooting at me. After a while of twisting and turning I look behind me I see my flight chasing of a bunch of hurries that were apparently escorting the Blenheims. I look back and see something white streaming from the main fuselage and decide it's time to leave work for home. Just before landing my rear-right fuel tank indicator lights up, red as red can be, no worries, I should have at least two tanks intact. After landing I inspect the crate and can see clearly the bullet holes at the back of the main fuselage, I toggle my fuel indicator and see that right-rear is almost empty and left-rear is half full. I'd say it was a successful sortie considering the damage done!

Landed safe and sound

Closer inspection....

A million thanks to 41Sqn_Banks for the campaign generator, you have saved this game for me.
