Default Part of an Article from "Geforce.com"

According to Steam’s monthly hardware survey, ninety-three percent of all multi-GPU systems in use today use SLI. So, due to overwhelming demand, we are pleased to announce that SLI is being licensed by the world’s leading motherboard manufacturers for integration into the next-generation of AMD motherboards, including 990FX, 990X and 970 chipsets. ASUS, Gigabyte, ASRock, and MSI are among the first motherboard manufacturers to offer this new capability for AMD, with more coming on-board shortly.

As you can see in the image below, one of the first AMD motherboard with SLI capabilities will be ASUS’ Republic Of Gamers Crosshair V Formula, the latest version of their extremely popular and well-reviewed AMD gaming motherboard.

--------------------------------------------------------

As you can see from this information there is enough demand from the gaming community to warrant SLI optimisation for "Cliffs of Dover". Notice that this is "Steam's" survey and a very heavy in favour of SLI for multi-card users (93%--7%). Come on Developers give us support for multi GPU users both "SLI" and "Crossfire"

I think the Clod poll seems to not coincide with the Steam poll.

It's all a scam anyway, the motherboard does not need to support SLI or Crossfire, as long as it has two PCI-E x16 slots it will work if nvidia or amd allow it in their drivers. It's just a licensing scheme, nothing is physically different between an SLI and Crossfire motherboard.

According to the Banana forum poll there were 46 people using 2 or more GPUs.Of that 30 were using SLI.Roughly 65.2%.

Granted that is a small sample compared to Steam users.

Ditto. The majority of people use single GPUs. I'm not saying it shouldn't get fixed eventually, but let's not skew the polls with arbitrary (and faulty) interpretations

What I was trying to say was that of the 20% that do use multiple GPUs in Clod only 65.2% use SLI,which is off from Steam's account of 93%.

So yes,80% of Clod users use single GPUs,but of those that do have multiple GPUs only 65.2% are SLI.

So the SLI users for Clod are just a spec on the driver developers monitor.
