Men of War: Vietnam not starting (steam version)

Bought the Men of War: Vietnam special version yesterday through steam. So far I haven't been able to start up the game.

When I click on the desktop icon or select play game through the steam client a windows message appears asking me if I allow the program (the game in this case) to make changes to the system. When I select no, nothing happens of course but when I selected yes I get a quick flash of the steam client trying to install step 1 of 1.

Afterwards nothing happens, the game it self does not boot up. I haven't experienced this problem with any of the other men of war games, all of them also bought and played through the steam client.

I'm using a Acer 5920z Laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate. (32-version)

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas how to fix this, your help will be much appreciated.
