I've had CloD since last night. Have had IL-2 for a long time.
I have a home-made FreeTrack setup that worked fine with IL-2 -- a few errors here and there but for the most part no problems. In CloD, however, I'm having tons of problems. Sometimes I get tracking at the start of a mission, usually it kicks in some time in. If I pause, tracking halts. Sometimes when I return from pause or start a mission, I'll get a single wonky frame of tracking before it stops again for a seemingly random time. Has anyone else had this problem? Tracking would be an issue for me in IL-2 if I alt-tabbed sometimes, but otherwise it was very consistent. This is driving me up a wall. |

No idea to be honest. I also use freetack with a microsoft lifecam and a trackclip pro, my cam is not even modified (i just use some adhesive tape to hold a piece of photo film over it when using freetrack with the lights on or during the day) and it works fine for me.
I have more problems setting up a response curve that i'm happy with but that is my own issue, as far as the sim is concerned it responds properly to freetrack's inputs for every different curve i've used. |

For me sometimes freetrack stops in CloD, and I need to recenter by shortcut assigned in freetrack (sometimes several times). This solve my problem.

I have had 'freezing' problems using my PS3 eyecam with CoD. FT was too unstable so I reverted back to my MS lifecam (far more stable) but the last patch seems to have caused some strange behaviour (similar to what you describe) but can live with it.
No problems in IL1946 with either of my webcams. I have read that selecting 'Pseudo' rather than true 'full screen' can help but I have not tried it. |

S!
In old IL-2(with 6DOF mod) works perfectly. In CloD too except for the X and Y movement axis when viewing the gunsight. The movement "sticks" to the gunsight somehow. The effect is more pronounced if I take my head lower and move my head right<->left, and less so if I go "over" the gunsight. I have straight "curves" on the movement axis ![]()
