First, go to the following folder:
(your disk drive)\steam\steamapps\common\il-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover\manual

In there you will find six .PDF files, each one containing the manual in a different language. Open whichever one suits your language knowledge best.

Then, you need to take a look at the sections:
  • Options - controls (page 20 in the English manual)
  • Camera settings (page 25 in the English manual)
  • Flying the planes - Gunner controls (page 77 in the English manual)

This will tell you everything you need to know

I've searched my computer for a folder called STEAM and I can't find it. and yes I do have a STEAM account that is active. I have the retail DVD version which I bought at Best Buy recently. I've looked for a manual but none seemed to have come with it. Not on disk and as of my last search, not on my hard drive.
I have two pieces of paper in the case. One is the eula and such and onetells me at the top that "THE FULL-LENGTH DIGITAL MANUAL IS ACCESSABLE AND DOWNLOADABLE FROM THE GAME DISK".

Well on this game disk there is nothing that resembles a manual. Any ideas? I went to the UBI web sight and could find nothing on it. Yet I read in a review over on http://www.freewebs.com/heinkill/cli...overreview.htm that the reviewer recieved a paper manual?

Now please, forgive me, because I know this is not yours or any other posters fault or that there is anything you can do. But this fiasco keeps getting better and better.

I've only owned the sim a week or so so I really haven't given it a real chance. But what I've seen so far will not get it nominated for any awards.

Oh I did a search on the internet and finally found a copy of the manual which was, dare I say, less than helpful. I found nothing on complex engine management so I'll go back to the internet to find what SHOULD have been on the disk to start with.

Again, please, forgive an old man rantings.
