Quick: what do you expect here? Somebody telling you how jealous he is that a guy already equipped with a i7-920 considers buying a new CPU? Ridiculuous, check the common hardware sites to realize that you could OC your 920 to over 4GHz and like that, no actual CPU is any faster. If you absolutely want a new CPU, aim for the i7-2600K. Point.

the 920 i wan't to put it to my second pc thats all mate
also i'm not overclocking cpu because i don't know ....plus that i don't want to mess around with something that i don't know
you could tell me that is no reason to replace it and wait for something new perhaps..
thanks for the reply though

From what I have heard the latest intel chips are much more stable and you can achieve 4.5 to 5GHz using only fan coolers which is quite impressive... however i would wait for the next generation.

BTW ignore what Querer said, unfotunately he resembles the average user posting on this forum, angry at something he can't control and posted just to have a whine rather than add anything constructive.

Wait till the AMD Bulldozer cpus come out and see how they compare to the current intel crop. The bulldozer cpu's are supposed to own the sandybridges from what I here.

No I highly doubt that but with the next generation and also for the i7 2600K or i5 2500K you will require a new motherboard.

Hi skouras,
i7-2600K is really a good choice.
(I wonder if some people on this forum are related to Heinrich Himmler or Bachar el Hassad, or maybe both of them??).
