Default CloD up & running but certain aspects just don't work...can anyone explain?

Have upgraded everything except older game card-NVidiaGeForce9800GT, which I'd like to keep around until all the major patches are done .Acceptable performance - not great FPS but usable.
BUT- I can't get these things to work:
1.) Screenshots- no biggee - FRAPS works fine.
2.) I cannot change skins-I can see them in plane options & choose one , but it doesn't show up in flight...frustrating esp with new ones now showing up.
3.) cannot change planes in career/campaign mode & occassionally not in single missions either ...maybe this is limited in the game itself.
4.) I have eliminated text showing up on screen , but does this mean I don't get responses to my RTs? If I call for help I get no audio response.
5.) FFB stick will not program certain things.Hat refuses to be go -to for Flaps & trim...I understand that the sim isn't FFB friendly -true?
6.) Delay in firing from the time I press fire button to actual guns shoots ...as you can imagine with low FPS already over land , slow firing response means a lot of too late missed shots! Flaw in game or my joystick?
7.) Jerky AI performance...nothing like the smooth behavior in IL-2 that makes it such a joy to play ...itsalmost as if enemy ac are in cheat mode...is this the behavior for others as well?
No more Game freezes or CTD's but afew really irritating little things. Can someone just tell me they are normal & Oleg ( or someone )will be addressing them?
Of course the biggest problem is still FPS,for me still at 10-40 , but hopefully that will be fixed by someone in the near future before US release.
BTW Rise of Flight had many of the same issues , but two years later its pretty nice.

Intel(r) Core(TM)i7CPM

RAM16.oGB Windows7 64 bit
Without being a computer expert how do I goose more out of this ?Have payed down almost all visual settings..

Take each one of these questions and use search feature or browse through these forums above. I have seen many of these same questions asked before.

P.S. You're really not going to get any response that will cater to your list by one person. Your question will only illicit troll responses. Which makes me suspicious of this post in the first place.

Your answers are all contained with these separate technical sub-forums. To wait for a response here is only troll baiting.

Vengeanze-That's just the info I needed- i don't know whether to laugh or cry ,but at least i know its not something I've done wrong or better I can try to fix at this point...I only wish that CloD didn't require sooooooooooo much in advanced computer knowledge just to get it going properly...but I bet I'm not alonr there!

You'll get by pretty well if you have dinero too. Just ask a kid to build u his dream computer.

Dunno if you read the link where Luthier especially mentions the AI improvements in the beta patch this friday.
He also talks about "The final remaining performance issues" that will take a couple of months more. That might give us a couple of more frames.

The devs are aware of what u bring up but also many other bugs. Like you say, give it a year.

Reg. performance. Not much u can do with your rig except perhaps overclock the 9800.
You can check out these things too. Courtesy of Ataros:
