Default i5 2500k v's core 2 duo

seems like il2 1946 ran better on my dual core cpu, on the i5 2500k it's running the second core maxed out with a slight stutter every once in a while, any suggestions? I know this is the clod forum but everyone is over here, thanks

Given that Il-2 classic wasn't designed for multi-core processors (obviously), the only thing I can suggest is tweaking the processor affinity - I'd do a search of the IL-2 forums for this first though. Otherwise, it is most likely not directly processor-related, and may just need fine tuning somewhere.
