Is this possible?

I like very much MOW game, but I'm great fan of Combat Mission game series.
And my question is: is it possible to make some kind of mod that could make MOW more like CM, meaning:
- Fixed type of units which player could buy and deploy on the beginning of game without further points.
- Some kind of timed pause button which will last minute or more for both players giving more time to issue orders not in real time but in pause mode
- More historic accurate units.
- And so...
Anyone who played Combat Mission knows what it looks like. I know that those both games have totally different game stile, but I would like to make something between.

So this question is addressed to modders, so if those things are not possible to make that sit back and enjoy current MOW game, or if it possible to start digging for tools.
