It's there. I have it mapped to the hat switch on the throttle of my X52. You have wide, normal, and zoom. The zoom is called loosen seatbelt in keymapper. The other two are pretty much same as IL2 1946. Will give specifics when I get home and can look at the keymapper.

Nooo I think he means the single command that would cycle through the three preset FOV. I agree we need one in CloD. Not sure why it got ditched in favor of makin me tak my hand off the throttle....

A single key with "familiar" zooms is much better for marksmanship than an axis.

Hobnail is correct. In all the other versions of il2 I have mapped "Toggle FOV" to button 5 (the one with C) on my X52. In that way I came easily cycle through the FOV options on one button.

jojovtx - Without the option of "Toggle FOV" I had mapped the various 30, 70, 90 and Lean to Gun Sight to the central hat switch on the joystick.

The big issue I find is that I have to keep changing which joystick buttons I use when switching between my other versions of il2 and CoD. Its frustrating that the developers had a good control list in il2 Forgotten Battles/1946 etc and didn't just stick to that and then add any additional controls required for the complexities of CoD. The fact that they have broken the controls into separate pages - Game/Aircraft/etc - increases the probability that you end up assigning the same key to two different functions.

CoD is a quantum leap forward on the other il2s, but in the Controls section I think they have gone backwards - which is unfortunate given all the effort the developers have put into this game.

I see, was much to quick to reply. That would be handy seeing as I certainly need a few more buttons available on my x52.
