Strange online problem.. can't connect from Australian IP.. using VPN to European IP

I just installed Il2 on a new Windows 10 machine,

... couldn't get online until I mistakenly tried to log on while running a VPN.

Very high ping of course, so hard to stay online.

Any one else had a similar problem or got a fix.

I have tried running with firewall disabled, vwith the same result.



(hyperlobby connects OK, games loads but connection times out)

If you are using Hamachi turn it off or uninstall it.

There are a few Aussie and Kiwi squads on HL that connect ok

Im not using Hamachi, but I unstalled my VPN, & have the same problem.

Also.. I just ran Hyperlobby/Il2 on my old Win8 macbook, & it connects fine.

Update:

Uninstalled my VPN = not fixed.

Uninstalled and reinstalled Hyperlobby = not fixed.

Copied working Windows 8 game (and changed game location in hyperlobby to match of course) = not fixed.

Are there any Australian windows 10 users out there, what is your experience?

G'day and HL server problems.. ~S~
Yeah man, I used to be a regular on HL and had NO probs joining most servers.
But, NOW... windows 10..... and a heap of game up dates and patches (including the illusive HSFX 7.03 updates as 242 sqd site is no longer...cept on facebook though ..it is)....I CANNOT join ANY of the servers , even the bloody kiwi server (maybe US hosted ? but that shouldn't be a prob).. I have tried all day using different versions and different severs -but No GOOD.\
I think Maybe Jiri has had enough of oceanic / Asiatic game joiners. I unfortunately I think aussies will now have to use direct IP server addresses to join multiplayer games.. which makes it rather annoying as you will have to go and ask someone for server addy,(which they may not like if they do not know you well enough)..
If ANYONE has an answer... I will probably go and ask Jiri personally as I had a chat to him once many years ago and found him a rather good bloke to talk to (chat).
PLEASE ANY Answers and help would be awesomely excellent & outstanding.
