Error CLR20r3 on Startup

Hi guys, when I startup my game by starting Launcher.exe, within 3 seconds I get that error.

I'm not using kind of antivirus, and my feeling is that it has something to do with net framework, I use Windows 7, and I have reinnstalled Net Framework 4.0 several times.

Any advice?

SOLUTION ! :

At the end of installing IL-2 Cliffs Of Dover, you will be requested by a "Direct x Installation" to install certain files, let it do that, otherwise you will get this error for some weird reason.

If this does not solve it, you are using anti-virus, and it blocks "Launcher.exe", and you need to deactivate the antivirus.

No more stupid re-installing advises needs to be given to anyone with this issue.

Have you run the game fine before and does this happen only after applying the last patch or did you never get the game to run properly?

It only happened after the latest patch.

K, then I would try the following steps if you havent done so.

1) Open steam, go to library, right click Cliffs of Dover, Select Properties and go to Local Files tab, click on Verify Integrity of Game Cache and let it run and download.

2) Go to \Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\cache\ and delete everything in the main folder, keep the shaders folder but delete everything inside.

3) If you want to be sure your conf.ini is set to default just delete it in \Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\ and it should make a new one next time you start up the game, you have to set your video settings again first time you start the game.

4) Download the latest patch and extract it to your desktop, then cut and paste all folders to \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\ selecting yes on any request to overwrite and copy and replace otherwise.

5) For ATI users go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\parts\core\GUI\ and rename the intro.wmv to something different or just delete it, just be careful as it might affect VAC cheat protection in the future when playing online, so far there seems to be no problem to do this though.

This way your install will be as clean as possible.

It still shows up, it has something to do with the Net Framework, other people have it to.
