Default Fullscreen/Windowed Problem

I have been having an issue since the second patch where by if I switch my resolution from 1920*1080 to a lower setting I end up with the game running in a sort of window that doesn't fill the whole screen.

Instead I can see parts of my desktop as the game is running. Also, this is only when the sim is running, not while I'm in the GUI.

I have read similar posts on this subject, but there has not been a proper solution posted. I haven't had this problem with 1946..

Is there something I've got to alter in the conf.ini to make it fill the whole screen at my chosen resolution?

Strange you still have that...
This was introduced in the beta long time ago - 13915 or something.
But then it has been fixed (supposedly) after that. When the patch went live (steamed) the problem had been fixed.
I have never had it after that beta-patch.

I would check the integrity of the files if I were you.
Then reinstall the last patch.

Maybe it helps

Edit: Yes, that did it. Thanks for your help.
