Default Help to assign joystick button to recentering TrackIR

How do I do that?
Recentering is assign to F12. Can I assign a joystick button to send F12?

Yes, I hope you are using the programing software on your stick. You dont have to use F12. You can use what you like.

1.Open TIR software

2.Change centering to whatever you like.

3.CLOSE TIR.

4.Got to your stick programing software and assign that button (F12, G whatever)

5.Reopen TIR. Move head, press button, TIR should center.

If you skip step 3, you will not be able to assign the button you picked to center TIR.
Remember this. If you have TIR open, you will not be able to use that button for anything else. Keep this in mind.

Hope this is not confusing.
Good Luck.

Thanks Maico. Unfortunately I don't have a wokring program for my controls - I got the MSFFB2.
However I found that u can assign a joystick button inside the TrackIR program, which worked perfectly.

I will I will. But as I need the X45 stick to get the X45 throttle working (throttle connects to stick) I'm in the market for a X52 throttle instead that is stand alone. And Sweden is a small country.

The MSFFB2 is a keeper. Improved my killrates alot. Looking for a spare just in case.

Btw, had to google translate "procrastinating". Thanks for the englishlesson too.

Get the hell out of here! I am going to Sweden in two days. I will be in Upsalla where my girlfriend is from. Where are you? I will be there Thursday.
I use google translator to chat with my gf sometimes. She loves it when I "speak" Swedish to her lol.
Keep on looking for a Saitek, the experience will be very rewarding. Do you use Joy2Key for your MSFF2? Its a free program that provides program ability to the MSFF2. You can then program this thing...

Good Luck!

Another english porking our beautiful swedish women. When are you guys gonna get over the viking thing and leave our women alone!?!

I'm in Stockholm, 1 hour south of Uppsala.

I use to use Joy2Key when in Pacific Fighters but in CLOD I actually don't need more buttons...yet. When in a df I just use the stick and throttle. Everything else is set on before hand.
That might change later when I get to know the plane more.

Sorry to dissapoint you but I am not Brittish, I am American, Puerto Rican/American. You know, the ones that can allways be counted on to do the right thing when all the drugs are exhausted LOL. We typically play drug dealers, thugs and homosexuals in american films. Every once in a while they let us be the bad guy. But we are not that high in the social ladder yet.
I am learning a lot about Sweden. Guess I am about to learn a lot more. I will be there in time for Midsummer. Just cant freaking wait. I got that Swedish girl the way most of us get with Scandinavian girls.... I clubbed her and then kept her chained.
Do you play IL2? SF series? Rise of Flight? I am learning to play Call of Duty too.
I have to go to Stockholm next week. I am coming from Qatar.

I heard about puerto rican shower. In sweden it's called raggar dusch (hillbilly shower).

I'm married with children so just a maverick flying CLOD when there's an opening.
Use to be a full timer though. Was on the top 100 list (in europe) of Diablo2. Almost cost me the wife though.

Have a great stay. Nice weather coming but always bring an extra sweater for em cold nites.
