I thought Alienware was more than just a combination of the best hardware,but more the finetuning of it?

Building your pc is very rewarding exdperience. Is fun, it will suit perfectly your needs among other stuff. Im impreced wit hwhat my pc still gives me after nearly 2 years, and i didnt weaste more than 700 euros on it.

I build several,just thought that Alienware tunes the hardware by writing it's own software for it?

If they claim that it's nothing more than marketing BS. You pay the extra for a fancy name, decorative extras and superfluously expensive items of hardware that do nothing for making games run faster.

Haha, wow, no, they don't do anything like that. They might give you a custom desktop image, and maybe some branded adware or a backup utility or something, but nothing useful.
