Default Upgrade: 4870 -> 6950 WOW!

I just upgraded my trusty old 4870 to a Sapphire 6950 2GB Ram.

CloD runs very smooth now (even before the patch) with most settings on high.

Wow. It's a HUGE improvement!

Interesting. What processor you got that paired up with? And how much RAM?

Shouldn't matter too much, read this.

Seems that we both have almost the same PC rig, tough i didn't change my GC yet : i7 950, 12 Go RAM, 4870 > 2 Go OC, and i was interested in changing for a 6950 2 Go... Nice to hear there a noticeable difference ! Could you clarify what you said with FPSs ? (in same situations, with AI control in exact same mission and with same view for instance..)

Do you have an SSD ?

Good to hear - I'm planning on doing the same very soon. It seems that 1GB of VRAM is insufficient to run this on 'high', so it seems a logical choice seeing that I'm a fan of the red team (or is it now the green/red team?)
