Default Cod/steam seperate drives

As far as i understand steam can only be on a single drive . I was planning on buying a ssd for cod but my steam folder is verrrrry big so will not fit on an ssd ,apart from the verry biggest (most expensive) . So it looks like i'm stuck with my standard slow 7200rpm drive for cod.
Can anybody confirm this ??

There is a program called steamtool which transfer the game files on a diffrent drive so you can keep the ones you play on the ssd and move the rest on a HDD or the other way round.
