Default Control Tower Commands

When I play one of the Campaigns, the tower will clear the aircraft in front for takeoff. But then, nothing. I have sat there for 15 minutes waiting. After I get too impatient, I take off, and as soon as I make a turn, the tower clears the next in line for takeoff. That's me. Is there a command for letting the tower know I am ready? Or, is there a bug in the campaigns?

Thanks,

binky9

You can inform the Control Tower that you are ready for takeoff:

- Press: Tab
- Press: 0 (Status)
- Press: 5 (Ready For Takeoff)

Hope that helps

Totally agree,I know it's authentic and that's great, but if you can't hear what the bloody hell is being said what's the point.

Sure make it sound authentic, but please,we need to hear what the **** is being said,I for one don't have all the subtitles across the screen, for me this just kills the immersion, but the radio audio is far too noisy, make it clearer please.

Again this is something that could be polished up surely.

That's THE major issue for me as well. The 'fix' from the last patch was sucht a letdown its not funny at all. If that's fixed, I could deal with other bugs, but that... I just don't get it why it doesn't get primary priority. I mean you're basically on your own the whole time... no ordering any attack, nor can you confirm anything the possible AI leader says - and every landing with your squadron in tow turns out to be a major catastrophe with planes crashing into the ground and into each other etc. That pseudo-dynamic campaign newly uploaded on airwarfare.com, while possibly very interesting, is just a no-go for me to get, because, as the autor states, you have to take off with autopilot engaged, in order to get your squad to follow you. Sigh.
I mean, we're doing the Battle of britain here, and the Battle of britain was NOT fought by planes completely on their own.

Please, please, 1C, make fixing the AI commands a first-line, superior, primary priority!

Getting back to the cockpit sounds
Cockpit sounds should be muffled, so you should hear the radio better, judgeing by the flying helmet
