Default Stutters - No Stutters

Something funky with the Loading of the Steam and COD.

Sometimes it stutters, then crashes... When checking running services, I get a few COD's running. After shutting down (say 2 of 3 loadings), the sim runs silky smooth - including the mirror on. While doing this, I get CTD's and it returns to the sim, CTD again..... Buggy.

Therefore, the stuttering may be a loading problem. Additionally, there are problems with the AVI recordings, which may be related.

Asus X58D Premium
I7 920 @ 2.6Ghz
Windows 7 64 Professional(up to date)
6GB Corsair Ram
WD 1Tb
ATI 5770x2 SLI
Resolution 1920x1080
AA x4
V-sync on
32" HDTV
TIR4
All High Settings except for Land Detail

I've never had a CTD. I been playing for hours everyday...
I had big improvement in stutter from changing DDR3 from single channel to dual channel. I had accidentally installed my ram in wrong slots for dual...
I also changed HPET from 32bit to 64bit in BIOS .
Before I made these changes I couldn't play grass on with out stutter. Now I have grass on and 40-60fps silky smooth, no stutter. big battles.

The CTD's happened when I pressed ESC to exit from the Record Playing/Record, not from running the sim.

Ram is Dual Channel.

Your CloD is opening multiple times?

Also,
SLI is not supported yet so that could be an issue.
plus epilepsy filter is a factor. Checked? Unchecked?
Your processor + RAM are slow for this game (in its current state)

I have similar results closer to 40 fps over the channel and coasts without clouds, but I dont think anybody is able to fly over London with success. (buildings popping in and out etc, slower fps)

I'm very curious about how you have SLI working with your 460s. Please share your method/settings in nvidia cp.
Also, what setting in game?

thanks

Also what the heck does HPET do? never heard of that...

EDIT 8/7:
Im running over London with success: My settings were too low: Buildings needed to be set to max in order to render correctly....didnt hurt fps too much

Well, I changed the Resolution to 1920x1080 and everything is running better (ESC...). Sometimes I have to turn the Mirror off, and sometimes I don't.

Sim runs great.

I was having trouble with fps during takeoffs (dropping to 10-15fps)...I disabled the mirror and all is great
