Question 3 questions, if I may.

I know that some (probably all) will most likely go unanswered, but I still have to ask:
  1. Why was UbiSoft chosen as a publisher, again after the Pacific Fighters debacle? Does UbiSoft hold some kind of exclusive rights to IL2 Sturmovik title or anything related to the development team by some kind of agreement/document? Was this the reason for a name change from Storm Of War? Was their offer the best?

  2. Epilepsy Filter - is this the real problem of why the game runs as it does or is there more to it? Provided that there were other publishers out there besides UbiSoft and that this so called Epileptic Filter is to blame, why did the development team agree on implementing it - and not making it optional in the first place?

  3. If there was no other way but to implement this Filter - why wasn't the game then delayed further until it can be made to work properly?? This will only hurt sales and also has a chance to kill the new series in the making, not to mention further development from the same game engine.

Being a customer, and also a fan of the original IL2 series I have the best intention of supporting this genre and future development of the new IL2 series by purchasing Cliffs Of Dover. For now, I can not convince myself in doing so. Perhaps the patches that follow will convince me otherwise...
