In the one of the videos they say the international release date is March 30th. Its the video that shows the online mode with the islands.

It is about a month later, true.
A probable scenario is that the release is held up by ESRB having to review the game and assign a rating to it before distribution can commence.

I'm in Europe but i'll be getting it late as well (i'm waiting for a relative to come back home from the UK and bring me a collector's edition in the process), sometime around mid-April. In all honesty i'm not really bothered, a couple of extra weeks is small fries compared to the 6 years or so we've waited for it and (hopefully) the years we'll spend flying it.

I have never seen Steam change a date this close to release. Probably both dates are right, it just depends on where you buy. So Don't buy on Ubi's stupid site basically.

I'm so confused at this point. I'm in North America (Virginia, USA), and I bought it through UbiShop...but what I'm gathering here is that, while I've been charged, I'll now have to wait an extra month?? Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

Seems there wasn't an issue with 1C distribution. You can then probably guess where the screw up came for the remaining location's release from there. I won't mention names, but they should get a CLUBIE. Even with the 'sudden' implementation of STEAM, 1C had it out the door in time.
