Has anyone been using UDPSpeed on a second monitor now that the CPU and GPU performance have increased a lot in that past couple years?
Currently I am using it on a networked PC but am looking at downsizing to a single fast PC to do both. Another reason is that Cliffs of Dover has a VirtualCockpit (VC) that will display gauges on a second PC that seems to be working well for others. It does not look like it works on a networked PC. Besides it is a pain to have to boot two computers to fly ![]() |

I've tried UDPSpeed and found it to not work, I suffered from the problem sniperton describes above, plus the dials wouldn't all fit on my 2nd monitor which is 900x1440 in portrait orientation. I have an ATI 5870 btw.
I really wish for IL2 1946 there was something like the CloD VirtualCockpit app because I tried that out and it was fantastic, just a shame that I rarely play CloD. The most helpful gauge for me would be a trim indicator - I never know how much trim I've got on any of the planes (mainly because none of the planes I fly seem to have either working dials/wheels in the cockpit or they're not marked in any useful way) and it would be helpful so that I can learn that x amount of trim on the elevator gives me level flight in x condition or x amount on the rudder stops me veering left or right down the runway or puts the ball in the middle to stop slip. |

I use UDPGraph as a visualisation tool for Devicelink, I don't actually use the graphing function but it can also display a simple list with the values you choose.
It's not a replacement for UDPSpeed(no gauges), but it works well for viewing exact values. |

Well I have UDPSpeed running on a second monitor and seems to function fine. However I needed to add IPS=127.0.0.1 to the Devicelink section to get it to work online.
