Default Battle of Britain Historical Missions for Realistic Players (PS3)

Hey guys,

I'm about halfway through my BoB historicals with my arcade guys and wanted to see if there was any interest in doing this on realistic mode. The missions were created to accurately re-create actual battles from the BoB and focus more on re-living history over competition. Each mission will have set planes for each side and I'd really like for people to stick with one faction for the duration of the 15 missions as much as possible. I'm looking for at least 10 - 15 people who can reliably attend gatherings when they are set and devote at least 2 hours to doing the missions. If I can get enough participation, gatherings will take place on various days depending on peoples schedules and will typically start at 10pm EST as that is the only time during any given day, that I know for sure I can be on, barring any unforeseen circumstances. If you're interested, please post a comment here. Thanks!

Hello again RuffMonk....we met a few days ago...i was that smoking mess in front of you...1st....2nd...3rd time...oh never mind.. Great Game.

Would love to do this in Realistic... only problem is time difference...10pm EST is 2am GMT UK or 3am Euro GMT+...

Dont suppose you would think about a set of games on IL2 Sundays around
4pm EST....? I am sure a lot of the Euro & Uk Flyers would join in as this would be 8 or 9pm for us.....

I find the 109 a lot more even in Realistic so happy to be in a staffel .

If everything works out in the arcade missions I will be happy to try realistic. Count me in.

@WildBoar44

Thanks and back at ya! As to the time change, that's the biggest issue I seem to have with trying to organize these. Unfortunately during the day on weekends, I usually spend time with the family and with a 4 month old and a 4 year old, it can get pretty hard to focus on playing a game, which is why I tend to play at night after everyone else is in bed. So as of right now I don't think an earlier time would workout for me I'm afraid. It MIGHT be possible to attempt some 1 or 2 pm EST runs when the kids are taking naps, but that to would depend on the family schedule and so would be very sporadic in nature.

So I'll put this here! If I ran some Sunday 1pm or 2pm EST runs who would be interested then? As I stated above, it would be sporadic scheduling if I did this and probably no more than 1 - 1.5 hour stretches at a time (~2 - 3 matches).

@ StiC

I'm still going to finish up the arcade runs so you are more than welcome to join those if you still wish. I was just testing the waters here to see what kind of realistic interest there might be. If this does get off the ground however, I have no issues with running both arcade and realistic runs if the need arises as I'll just schedule as I need to, to accommodate both.

As long as I am available (have 4 daughter and a wife here) I would love to join on the realistic side. I will keep an eye for your postings.

Hey WildBoar44,

I'd be glad to have you on board! However, interest so far seems to only extend to you, gris and StiC since those have been the only posts so far. As of right now the realistic historical runs are still grounded, but I'll keep checking in to see if anything changes! I'd REALLY love to see these played out in realistic mode, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, lol!

Hey Ratman,

Well I'm predominantly an arcade player as I'm still trying to come into my own in realistic mode. As such I'm planning on flying bombers for the 12 non-fighter vs. fighter missions, thus relinquishing a spot for a better trained fighter pilot, lol! Anyway, I'll send you another friend request the next time I'm online.

Ratman,

I tried to send you another friend request last night, but I got a message that you were maxed out. If you know of any people who you think might be interested, tell them to visit the forum and post a message (preferred) or shoot me a PSN message.
