Default Game graphics crash

Hello

Ever since I began playing Men of War I've randomly crashed and I don't see why. I'm running
Intel Core 2 Q9550,
8GB of DDR2,
HD4870 512Mb with latest 11.1 drivers,
Asus Xonar Essence STX sound card &
Windows 7 64-bit

Graphics are set to maximum but don't seem to affect the occurence of error. The error is not supposedly in background programs since I crashed the game the same way after I reinstalled OS and installed only drivers, steam and the game through steam.

Here's a screenshot what the error looks like

I'm guessing the error is either related to steam pop up of key-code or then it's a graphics card issue.

Any support would be welcome

I would try a different video drivers version.

have you overclocked your system? i had same problem after overclocking GPU + CPU with MoW. running system (GPU + CPU) with standardsettings solved this problem.
this error looks like a problem with your temperature in your graphikcard.

The GPU wasn't overclocked when this happened but it has been overclocked before, though the temperature was then kept greatly below normal operational temperature, i.e. manual fan control at 100%.

I'll open the rig and see if the there's dust in GPU.

The error occured with an older graphics driver aswell but I'll see if I've stored an older version of CCC+DD somewhere. Thank You for the tip.

im have same GPU (ATI 4870) and Windows 7-64bit.
but i have only installed graphik drivers from ATI. instead ATI control center i use ATI Tray Tool.
my GPU temperature during playing MoW isnt higher than 70C (GPU fans controlled by ATI Tray Tool).

- have you installed latest version from DirectX 9.0?
