As the most allied Planes most propably only YG works.
Receiving the NDB , as almost all planes can, does Not mean you can use it. The correct instrument is needed to.

well it does and it doesn't

there is a suitable gauge

but it's non functional

blind landing equip was not really operational in RAF till post war from what i can make out.

one thing i've tried messing with is using lorenz lr beacon as a fake 'gee'- ride the audio beam and drop bombs on 'arrival'- can be fun?

Okay, that's the gauge I was looking at, but in the cockpit guide its labeled "bomb bay doors" or something like that, it just didn't seem right. I'm trying to get a few night mosquito missions going, don't need the use of a blind landing system, just navigation beacons, but if the gauge is non functional it might be a no go.

Like 'Oboe'? is there a way to trigger a signal on arrival?

if you position beacon just before target- when you fly down the beam it goes silent as you fly overhead , drop bombs

Why not use the outer marker or inner marker tones?

you can the inner marker tones make a good bomb release at~300km/h 5km- possibly too good a marker.
to me this is a reasonable approximation of knickebien, flying the 'wrong way' down the beam and dropping on silence makes a 'different' RAF system (geeH/oboe). that's my (twisted) logic anyway

let's see what mission builders come up with
