Default Ultra-Realism

This could be the real modern-era conter-part contender to SOW.

We know what Oleg thinks of WOP, so would he consider this one to be a good graphical match in terms of terrain, clouds, special f/x, immersion , etc....?

Personnally, from what I have seen so far, I have no doubt that SOW COULD in fact be superior in many aspects....

This has already been done to death, mate. DCS simply isn't competition for SOW anymore than ROF is. I seriously doubt a single soul will not by SOW because they have A10 and vice versa.

As far as Graphics go, If A10 is on par with SOW I'd be surprised. But then we haven't seen the finished product of either sim, so we're just speculating. Again.

Hum...I never implied or even thought for a second that people would actually choose between those two sims ...Or that it was competition as a product...But that is a graphical "reference".

Actually, I was saying that what could be considered a really really good 2011 product by many simmers, technologicaly speaking, would in my opinion, be surpassed by SOW....

Conclusion: I was complimenting Oleg and his team....That is all...

Nice knobs, buttons and LCDs... Now, where's planes?

On a serious note, I wish, they'd merge all Lock-On lineage into a single game, where you could fly all planes/choppers from Lock-On, Flaming Cliffs, Ka-50 and A-10. Then, I would even consider buying it.

Haha! It is funny how we, Oleg's BIG fans, feel like cheating when we consider bying another sim and even admitting it !

This video is in fact a very impressive visual demonstration of graphic realisation...Modern jet simmers must be very happy ! Good for that crowd...
Top notch flight sims of all kinds is only good news for the whole sim community...It shows to publishers and investors that it is still good business...

Salute !

Actually I can't tell how good the graphics are - all the interesting scenes are blurry.

No, it's not like I feel cheating by buying other game, or flightsim. Not at all. I have Lock-On and Flaming Cliffs, though I don't remember, when I played them last time. It's just that I too used to IL-2, where one can pick any plane, ever made for this game (or it's add-ons) and fly it in the same game.

Having to install a new game which has about 60% of content exactly the same as the previous one, just to fly one new plane seems to me, therefore, a bit annoying. Hence, I didn't buy Ka-50 and will not buy A-10, probably, as well.

But, should they include into the "A-10" all maps and flyables from previous Lock-On series, even for a higher price, I'd, much probably, would get it.

Hope, it's not post-processed and is 100% in game...
