Where are we up to please....

I was a regular IL2 user until my hard drive died at the worst time....other commitments etc.
I'm now able to update my pc so looked in to see where the hardware was up to. Looking around I can see that preparations for the upcoming Bob are to be taken into consideration so.....this frees me up to get some more mileage from my existing versions. I have everything from the first release up to the Pacific ... I think I also have 1946 (must have been round about the time the HD died and I had work to do)

Up to Pacific I was fully updated, now I'm completely at a loss. Having looked around I have seen the pending update for 1946 so I presume the update before that is where we are up to .... could someone aim me at the update links ... and any other recommended add ons Please.

If you don't have 1946, you can only patch so far, until you get to the new add-ons that were included in 1946. So, get 1946 if you don't have it.

If you have 1946, you just need patch 4.08 and patch 4.09 and you'll be up to date, until patch 4.10 comes out.

Installing Il2_1946 = 4.07

then:

add 4.08
add 4.09
optionally add the 4.09 improved skinpack (separate download)

that gets you completely up to date with OFFICIAL patches there is other non-official stuff around as well

Thanks for the replies. I've got quite a good collection of skins somewhere..

I'm sure I've got 1946, just haven't come across it yet. It looks as though I'm not too far behind.

I certainly like the prospect of SoW...sounds highly intriguing. I'd better get reading.
