Yeah Bobby I like to play with my iPod on. Whenever my mic is off I have my music on. I have a real mix of stuff. I have lots of film soundtracks that really suit the action. Blue Thunder OST goes well with the action. Last night I put on some Utah Saints. A bit old school but nice and fast paced. I find faster music works better for arcade mode and my OSTs for realistic

Music makes the BOP go around, I love listening to drum 'n 'bass, bit of Subfocus or Deadmau5, works really well when engaging an enemy

If I'm not on mic then I'll tend to put on some metallica, usually master of puppets if I'm dogfighting. For strikes and lesser stressful games it'll be the stone roses.

Wow, I could never fly a WWII warbird while listening to some of this music. WAAY to modern day kinda spoils the atmosphe for me. Its not ace combat. I like to have ochestral stuff from films, music that could have existed at the time (ie no electric). I'm using the soundtrack of "The Thin Red Line" for my flying at the moment. A bit too pacific sounding but its good.
