hmmm so the rest of the world has to wait for sony to get its ass in gear? lovely. seriously boys,...were it the other way and xbox was F'd up. I would want you to get all the new games and updates..etc. you should not suffer because my "system" provider failed me ( and millions of it's customers ).

Bobby, I'm sure no one here who owns a PS3 wishes this disaster to spill out and affect other platforms, game development and releases. My comment is speculative, what Anton said is that it is affecting them badly which makes sense, whether it directly affects the announcement or not. Game development is running on a tight schedule and the PSN is an important platform they can't use at the moment.

Hm, that all but confirms the next game will be for Playstation. Otherwise they wouldn't care that PSN was down. Let's try taking XBL offline and see if he says anything about that.

Good thinking! They have said earlier on that the sequel will be on consoles but refrained to be any more specific, although only the most pessimistic would have doubted the game coming to the PS3 after that (and XBOX; wouldn't be so sure about the Wii though...).
