Arrow Lobby Settings

In the lobby every day we find games with settings like;
UK vs Japan, "Only tanks", the classic 600 income-160 troops.
"no artillery" and "only infantery" are hard to find.
i know the game has been running for some years now but i just started to play about 11 months ago, so i just wondering who is the people who like those kind of settings.
my personal opinion about those settings is, uk vs japan has few action ingame. "only tanks", i never play that game people who like this setting should play war tanks games. 600 income-160 troops, many people say that is a noob setting but i think is the best one because you are avalible to develop any tactic during the game. "no artillery" is the noob game, people who dont like artillery should consider themseft noobs. "only infantery" is a good setting but to play only once in a while.

Whats your opinion about those setings?

only tanks: bullshit - 80% luckgameing
payback: bullshit - players who save/dont loose their units will be punished
no artillery: i like it - but its hard to find people who can play RUS without arty.

My favourite games are 1vs 1 or 2 vs 2 with my fiends (teamspeak ).

We normally play: no refund, 400 ,all weapons. Sometimes, we play 200 to make it really hardcore.

Tanks only? Nah.
Infantry only? Nah, sometimes it is boring coz all you have to do is to keep on picking MGs up.

No art? Nah. Japs and UK would be too hard to play.

GSM? YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

UK vs Jap with no artillery settings can be interesting matches. Though you need a descent japanese team.

Wats that payback/no-payback/no refund and all that about, whats the difference between them? I only know I played a With Payback Tank only think once and my points were going up, I had bought like few Panzy IVG's and was waiting to get my King Tiger but my points froze at 119 and wouldnt go anyhigher, I wound up getting a JagdTiger. So idk what that was about. As for the rest of the settings Idk what the differences are...As for tank only...yeah I dont like em much. You say tank only mtches are noob settings, try Tank only w/o FoW on....its like srsly...I joined a match that had it off and I didnt realize it till I was in game...its like crap this is bad haha. I like regular Combat matches 120population or w/e you call it and 450pts. Battle Zones is cool but I suck so bad at it......

Payback means you get points for losing units. No refund means you only get points over time. None means you start with max points but have to wait awhile to be able to spawn a good heavy tank like the IS-3.

Arcade settings to me are where you fight Japan vs Japan, USA vs UK, or Germany vs Japan.

It isn't hard to play Soviet Union without artillery, practice in frontline maps. For combat, battlezones, victory flag, I'm all infantry. I'll sneak up a flame thrower behind a rock or building, mortars here and there, the rest a rifleman line and a BT-7a.

Tanks only is a little boring. Most of the time I just hide something like a Puma behind a pass and wait for someone to come through. Hunting is a alright tanks only map if you have alot of players that don't lag.

Yeah No Refund is usually the best way to go. Then again None is best for huge infantry battles.
