kings bountiful head ache...

I bought kings bounty the legend and it installed fast, which is good. But it won't start. my comp is a hp pavillion desktop, integrated video card, running vista (not sure if it's 32 or 64) any way I can get the game started? Also, i tried downloading the latest patch but now it says the wrong disc is in.. do i have to clear it all out and reinstall with changes to settings? if so, what should i change. Thanks for any help you can give..
